Health Literacy
Within the realm of ‘Body Literacy’, where mental understanding and bodily ‘knowing’ meet, is the field of ‘Health Literacy’, where we merge the intellectual/scientific study of modern and traditional healthcare with the more subtle skill of intuition and the complex and holographic territory of holistic/whole person healing. The intention is health, the path to encounter health has as many different ways as stars in the sky. The faculty at The Well are trained in educating and empowering clients and students to find their own way on this path. We are devoted to teaching body literacy practices, otherwise known as ‘listening skills’ and combining these practices with traditional healing knowledge and modern ‘scientific’ understanding. Though all offerings at The Well fit in the category of ‘Health Literacy’, the following offerings are focused on specific skills for creating hormonal/sexual health and well being.

This class highlights how to align ourselves with the natural design of our female physiology via self-care, nature connection and deep listening practices. It offers tips for practical and action oriented lifestyle and dietary changes to support a healthy endocrine system. Ideas include sleep habits, blood sugar balance, connection with women and with nature, stress cycles, pineal, thyroid and adrenal support and much more.
